POLICY AGREEMENT - These policies must be read at the time of Registration. These policies are required for each family in the program.
I hereby request that my child(ren) attend Religious Education classes at Our Lady of Peace Parish during the 2021-2022 school year. It is my intention to take responsibility for my child’s regular attendance at Sunday Mass and frequent reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I understand that in registering for Religious Education, I take responsibility for the commitment my family is making my child’s Religious Education. I further agree that Religious Education will be a priority to my family and other activities will not interfere with my child’s commitment to attending class.
I understand that the Policy of Our Lady of Peace Parish is that students with more than four unexcused absences risk having to repeat the grade the following year. All absences due to illness must have a doctor’s note to be excused. I agree to abide by the Parent Handbook and understand that acceptable behavior is required and that chronic disruptive behavior may result in the student being removed from the program at the discretion of the CRE.
I understand that if my child(ren) lose the textbook over the course of the year, a replacement book charge of $35.00 will become payable before that book is replaced.
I will access the Religious Education website and my e-mail weekly for notices and calendar. I will check the website on the day of class in the event of an emergency closing.
